In his role as Vice President, Ryan’s responsibilities include working with clients on their financial planning and investment management, assisting with the firm’s 401(k) / 403(b) service, managing the firms finances and helping Steven Bouchey with day-to-day operations. Before joining the firm over 3 years ago, Ryan has more than 6 years of tax advisory and financial services experience working within Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Office in Boston. His clients in the past have included asset management firms located across the country in the hedge fund, private equity and mutual fund space. He also held a number of leadership roles within Ernst & Young, leading efforts to integrate technology resources across all financial services offices in the U.S. and serving as a liaison between EY leadership and employees as part of their People Advisory Board.
Ryan is a current member of the Financial Planning Association and recently earned his Certified Financial Planning ™ designation. He is also a member of the AICPA and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Ryan earned his Masters in Financial Planning with a certificate in Tax from Bentley University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Management from Bentley as well.
Outside of his role at Bouchey Financial Group, Ryan is passionate about giving back to his community. He currently volunteers with Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York teaching high school students the value of responsible financial planning. Ryan is also a member of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center Junior Committee and is an active planning committee member with Seton Health Foundation.
